The culture here is very different. I think that’s one of the reasons I would go back to Europe, but I am happy here. You see Gasly, you see Vandoorne, you see many drivers [reach F1 from Super Formula]. Another example of why this site so great.

SACHA: I started thanks to my parents. It’s just very different. In only three years, French-Argentine racing driver, Sacha Fenestraz, was dropped from European racing and moved to Japan. I used to race Motocross when I was a kid in Argentina and that’s one of my favourite sports after racing. I now have the next week and a half off. Afterwards I went up to her and asked her some questions I had on my mind. If you do a good job, they will open more doors for you and they will help you’. Welcome to Kat's Health Corner. I came to Japan at the end of 2018, after F1 in Abu Dhabi, to visit my brother who was working here, and I was like, ‘yeah, I like the country, let’s come race here and see how it goes’.
SACHA: It’s difficult to compare, it’s completely different, but the one that you know, Super Formula. ELL: What is your proudest or most memorable racing moment? Most days I want to give up. You are always so vibrant and happy wherever you go — it’s quite contagious. June 2nd I weighed in at 271.
She told me that she loved grading my work and tests and that I had a way with describing things that really get to the meat of the concept. There is only one reason I don’t give up. Yesterday morning I finished my last test. It’s a risk that we take but we don’t realise until it happens, unfortunately. SACHA: Last weekend [Super Formula at Twin Ring Motegi, August 30, 2020] was one of my favourite races, to be honest. April and May I had lost 22 lbs.
I started doing a lap of the small track we were doing and when my dad stopped me, I started crying. It’s a very nice car to drive, light and good downforce, good power. I struggle to put myself somewhere. ELL: What is the biggest challenge you have faced when it comes to racing?
ELL: Out of all the tracks you've raced at, which is your favourite? ELL: Which European category is your favourite? Sounds like a perfect fit! As I said, I was very close to stopping racing and I gave myself a target for Macau, saying ‘if it goes well, give it another chance next year and find a drive. This is so great. SACHA: FIA F3. And I'm gonna attack these next 20 lbs, and by the end of the year I would love to be under 250. I told her about my struggles in the past with orthrexia but I would never ask for that trial to have been taken away. I hope you are doing well. I feel so honored that she would want me and would go so out of her way to do that for me. I am so grateful for the knowledge I have acquired and for the opportunity to get to know and work with my Nutrition instructor, who has been a RD for 35 years and is about to finish her PhD. This Tuesday she told me she found a way for me to TA for her this next semester.

I have the opportunity to volunteer at the Wellness Center, where I’ll manage two of their online-tracking fitness challenges (a 9-Week Challenge and a Lazy Man Iron Man) and work an hour a week in the Wellness Center itself, learning new skills and getting to know the directors and other managers. I am so glad you have enjoyed all your classes; so many people in college dislike it, and have trouble finding ANY classes they enjoy.
