I have a CHG70 and think its great. The Samsung CHG70 has better dark room performance with more uniform blacks and local dimming support. Anyone have any experience with either of these monitors or would know which would be better? save hide report. Hello, I'm in the process of buying a 144hz 1440p monitor. They feel blurry no matter what. Here you can vote for our next review. From my experience, Samsung monitors lack clarity. I got the Samsung but it had a dead pixel and I didn’t really like the way it looked, so I returned it and got the Acer XF270HUA and I like it better. IMO only get the dell if motion clarity is your absolute tip-top priority. Yeah I've heard that about VA panels, but the other monitor I'm considering is TN so the viewing angles are even worse lol. so that you can compare the results easily. Mostly for gaming, but some video editing too. An VA monitor will have better blacks for sure but everything else is probably equal or better in the Dell.
